The Isle of Wight Zoo re-opens as Wildheart Animal Sanctuary
Our new name reflects our focus on rescued and threatened wildlife and puts the Isle of Wight at the frontline of the protection of endangered species
Our sanctuary has a variety of animals, but we specialise in two particular areas – tigers and lemurs. We also have lions, wallabies, meerkats, porcupines, monkeys, coatis, raccoons, marmosets and some farm animals.
Our special wildlife experiences are a perfect opportunity for anyone who has ever wanted to get a little closer to exotic wildlife, offering a magical and rare chance to come behind the scenes at the sanctuary for a once- in- a- lifetime encounter.
Please visit website for more information, opening times and prices.
Gift Aid
Did you know that it costs us more than £1,000 a month to care for just one of our tigers?
Donating through Gift Aid means that we can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you give. It helps us to take good care of all the animals in our care.
