How you can help save rainforest
World Land Trust

The World Land Trust is a conservation charity that has helped purchase and protects over 400,000 acres of rainforest and other threatened wildlife habitats worldwide.

In some areas in South America it is possible to save an acre of rainforest for as little as £50. In other areas it is more expensive, but rest assured, donations are still used in the same way: to enable partner organisations to purchase threatened wildlife habitat and protect them as permanent reserves.

Help save rainforests and other threatened habitats by making a donation to the World Land Trust. WLT saves habitat acre by acre and every donation, however large or small, enables us to work with our in-country partners to secure more habitats for wildlife, forever.

How you can help save rainforest

  • A regular Direct Debit donation (UK only) to the Action Fund will help WLT plan vital land purchases as your donation is pledged in advance in the most effective way.
  • Save Rainforest as a Gift
The perfect Green Gift for any occasion. You can chose which project to allocate your donation to and your recipient will receive a WLT Gift Pack.
  • Make a Simple Donation to the Action Fund
The quickest and easiest way to make a donation to the WLT. Donate in £,€ or US$ to the Action Fund and your donation will go to WLT's most urgent project needs.
  • Buy an Acre
Save an acre of rainforest for just £100 in our Buy an Acre projects in Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala and Mexico.
  • Donate to one of WLT's appeals. Save habitat for Orang-utans in Borneo, Elephants in India, the Sharpe's Longclaw in Kenya or donate to help fund Rangers on our project partners reserves.
  • Leave a Legacy
Help protect threatened habitats and endangered species through by supporting WLT in your will.
