| The South Sussex Barbarians are a lively, friendly group who are looking for more girls to join them. No experience is necessary just enthusiasm! We welcome GIRLS from ages 11 - 18 (school years 6 – 13). Most girls know little about the game when they start but progress very quickly. We have had great success with most of our girls being selected for the County squads and several selected for the South-East England Regional squad. To ensure girls throughout Sussex get the opportunity to play regular games, the Girls District League has been formed.Teams from across Sussex combine to form U12, U15 and U18 sides in one of four district areas. South Sussex Barbarians are made up of Lewes, Shoreham, Brighton, Hove, Newick, Plumpton and Uckfield RFCs. Training Lewes RFC, Brighton RFC and Shoreham RFC. |
