The South East Stars is a community Cheerleading team set up and run by Active Hastings. The team is lead by BCA qualified cheerleading instructors and has around 40 members.The South East Stars are currently the official cheerleaders for the men's Basketball Team, the 1066 Conquerors and frequently support them at their home ground and feature on their website, www.1066basketbal.co.uk The team train twice a week learning skills such as dance, pom formation, Stunting and Tumbling. The team also has is own gymnastics' coach. Each individual sets their own personal goals and the staff help them to achieve it. No prior experience is needed as everything can be learnt. Males and females in two age groups 5 - 9 yrs and 10-19 yrs.

The Southern Knights are a Performing Arts, Colour Guard and Cheerleading organisation based in Brighton & Hove, East Sussex and perform precision marching and dance displays to music using flags, imitation rifles/sabres, pom poms and other similar items.We cater for young people from school starting age and full instruction is provided therefore no previous experience is required to become a 'Knight'. There are currently 4 sections:-
RUGRATS - school starting age to approx. 8 years old
JUNIORS - 7 years old (or younger with some experience) to 11 years
A GUARD - 10 year (or younger with some experience) to 15 years
SENIORS - All ages but normally start age of minimum of 13 years.
Rehearse at: Blatchington Mill School & Sixth Form College, Nevill Avenue, Hove, East Sussex.

Mondays 6:00-9:00pm. Age range Juniors aged 5+ years, young people and adults

No 1 in the Southcoast!! We have over 110 members, ages ranging from 4 -27, and with only one practice a week they have gone from strength to strength and gained a huge number of championship titles

If you are aged between the age of 7 and 12 and are interested in being a cheerleader then come and join the RDC Youth Cheerleading squad. We at Shooting Stars offer Cheerleading, Gymnastics and Street Dance. The classes offered are professional and very energising! The classes are dynamic, creative and most of all fun. It is a great way to get fit, meet new people, boost confidence and learn some groovy moves. There will many opportunities to perform, choreograph and compete at various events. Age ranges from 5 - 15. Natalie Dunn is a BCA qualified Masters Level in Cheerleading (Inc Stunting & Tumbling) and BA HONS degree in Dance.
