Eastbourne Borough Council and The Beat Youth Sports Club have secured over £700 through the Youth Opportunity Fund to put on six-weeks of Baseball/Softball taster sessions for young people.Saturdays 1:30-3:30pm (starting from Saturday the 21 February 2009)
Age range 12-19 years old.
Venue: Shinewater Field, off Lavender Close, Eastbourne, East Sussex, BN23 8DQ

Sessions run from 6-7.30pm from April until to September. The club operates different teams training on different nights of the week. Horsham Junior Baseball Club runs the largest independant youth Baseball programme in the UK and provides baseball opportunities for boys and girls aged 6-16. The club also runs a girls Softball programme, a veterans Baseball programme for men aged 35 and over and a maxed adult Softball league.
